PUMPKIN PATCH!!

We took Emmie to the Pumpkin Patch this year & it was so much fun. They had goats, bunnies & chickens...Emmie loved them all. She is definitely an animal lover. She is not afraid of anything! It is so fun starting these family traditions. We had a blast!

Yes, she was about to touch a goat butt!!
(Can I say butt on a blog?)

Pumpkin time. She picked one out all by herself...really...I didn't help her find one that was perfectly shaped or symmetrical or anything!!

See how well she did?

Our first annual Pumpkin Patch outing!!

THE BIG DAY!!

OK...here it is!! The much sought after 1st Birthday Party. There are so many of you who made this party possible & even more of you that take part in loving our little Emmie. THANK YOU!! It was a perfect day & we hope you enjoy all the pics.
Here's our girl, excited for the big day!!

What is a 1st Birthday Party without pink cupcakes & E cookies?

We prayed over the Birthday girl before she could dig her hands into her 20lb cupcake!! Thanks Dada for reading Emmie's favorite verses: Philippians 1:8 & 9.

Finally, present time. Thank you all for the tissue paper...oh, & the presents too!!

Emmie with her family!! She loves you all.

Gimpy Auntie Katy & Uncle Brady!!
I think we are partied out!!
(She was asleep before we drove 2 blocks away!)

OUR SUMMER!!

So, since I have not blogged all summer (sorry Grandma Glo) here is a montage of Emmie's summer. Please accept the following pics as a peace offering between me & all of you who have been begging for cuteness updates. Here is how we spent our summer:

We played in our favorite toy box
(thanks Aunt Judy!!)

We, well, Emmie started eating solid food!!

We made our first college visit!! We are proud of you Banna!

We had our first sprinkler day!!

We took many baths in the sink!

And loved every one!!

We learned how to drive!

We played in boxes! Yes she is still only in size 2!

We ate more food!!

We even ventured to Chipotle for the first time since Alan & Anna moved to Oxford. We felt brave.

It wasn't easy, but we managed to eat it all. We miss you A & A!

We watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse &
Fraggle Rock...many times!!

And last but not least we learned how to use our pacifier as a mouth guard. We are definitely ready for the 2 & younger hockey league!!
We hope you enjoyed our summer as much as we did.
Love you all!!

WE'RE BACK!!

Finally!!! We are back in the blogging business. This summer was super crazy but soooo fun. It was filled tons of ministry! We had an awesome Vacation Bible School, we took our 4th-6th graders camping and we actually made it to the beach this year...not that I don't like sitting in a bus with 40 kids in 100 degree weather on the side of the freeway for 4 hours, but you know, for the kids it was nice that we actually made it! Here are some pics of camp. And don't worry Mom I have signed release forms from all the parents whose beautiful kids are posted!!

Swimming in the lake!!

Oh yes, our leaders worked hard!! Poor leaders!!

Worship under the trees!!

Our loving, sweet kids always follow the rules!!

Emmie LOVED the water and would have stayed in it all day! We made a swimming pool out of a bucket and she played for hours. It was so fun!
