We took Emmie to the Pumpkin Patch this year & it was so much fun. They had goats, bunnies & chickens...Emmie loved them all. She is definitely an animal lover. She is not afraid of anything! It is so fun starting these family traditions. We had a blast!

THE BIG DAY!!
OK...here it is!! The much sought after 1st Birthday Party. There are so many of you who made this party possible & even more of you that take part in loving our little Emmie. THANK YOU!! It was a perfect day & we hope you enjoy all the pics.
Here's our girl, excited for the big day!!
OUR SUMMER!!
So, since I have not blogged all summer (sorry Grandma Glo) here is a montage of Emmie's summer. Please accept the following pics as a peace offering between me & all of you who have been begging for cuteness updates. Here is how we spent our summer:
(thanks Aunt Judy!!)
We made our first college visit!! We are proud of you Banna!
We had our first sprinkler day!!
We took many baths in the sink!
WE'RE BACK!!
Finally!!! We are back in the blogging business. This summer was super crazy but soooo fun. It was filled tons of ministry! We had an awesome Vacation Bible School, we took our 4th-6th graders camping and we actually made it to the beach this year...not that I don't like sitting in a bus with 40 kids in 100 degree weather on the side of the freeway for 4 hours, but you know, for the kids it was nice that we actually made it! Here are some pics of camp. And don't worry Mom I have signed release forms from all the parents whose beautiful kids are posted!!
Oh yes, our leaders worked hard!! Poor leaders!!

Emmie LOVED the water and would have stayed in it all day! We made a swimming pool out of a bucket and she played for hours. It was so fun!

GRANDPA STAN
I know it has been a long time since I have blogged. It has been a crazy month...not to mention I have been without a camera for a while. But I have recently found the camera charger and summer is coming to a close so you will see more of the Emmie cuteness in the weeks to come.
ON A MORE IMPORTANT NOTE...
I wanted to share a picture that means so much to me. My Grandpa Stan went to be with the Lord last Sunday. He was the sweetest & kindest man & I loved him dearly. Thank you Grandma Glo for digging this picture up & sharing it with me. I love it. No, it is not Emmie...this is me with my Grandpa. But I was probably Emmie's age. Fun huh?
Sorry it's small. If I made it bigger it would have been distorted!!
